Desensitisation Sessions

After a Meet and Greet, or sometimes after a full appointment, it may be decided that your dog needs a little more time and help to get used to the grooming environment and the tools used.

Desensitisation sessions are set to a length that your dog can handle and we work on the thing they struggle with at a pace they can cope with.

By doing this, we keep the sessions as low stress as possible, as fun as possible and your dog will leave feeling better about whatever it is that they were unsure of.

Just like humans, dogs learn at different rates. More confident dogs may only need 1 session, but more worried dogs may need several. We will also need you to continue the training we start at home between their appointments for the best results.

I promise you, spending the extra time now is 100% worth it for the end result in the future. You will have a happy, confident and brave dog who has more trust in you and myself.
